A perimeter security system based on ultra-weak fiber Bragg grating high-speed wavelength demodulation was proposed. The for signal acquisition and calculation designed field programmable gate array (FPGA) platform. principle of recognition method were analyzed theoretically, the Support Vector Machine model introduced to optimize event accuracy system. experimental containing 1000 gratings, sense optical cables with a diameter 2.0 mm reflectivity 0.01%, steel space frames equipments built recognize four typical events such as knocking, shaking, wind blowing rainfall. resulted show that has spatial resolution 1m an frequency 200 Hz. joint time-frequency domain detection is used achieve 99.2% alarm accuracy, 98% two intrusion events, which good anti-interference performance.
